A Parting Gift ~

Heading home I turned to see
the clouds had parted
revealing Mt St Helens and
the Toutle Valley below ~

All this snow is making me feel cold! Luckily it is very beautiful and I can contemplate it from the warmth of my home!

lol sometimes God sends us little gifts like this and we just smile and go on...quickly forgetting the gift and the moment.

Thank you for capturing this gift in your camera and thank you for sharing it with all of us.

I suspect that God was pleased that you took the time to notice what He did with the clouds that day.

And I suspect that you notice what He does almost everywhere you look.

Blessings to you Laura,

In Him,
Grace

Wow what a phenomenal moment.....

I had to click and stare. In fact, I'll do that again.
It's just so magnificent and....powerful with the cloud formations.
I'm glad you turned your head.

Lovely... I wonder what Spring and Summer images of this very spot would look like. Time will tell... right? ;-)

Gorgeous! Although viewed from the opposite direction I grew used to seeing St Helens, this still makes me homesick for the PNW.
