Awwwwww......what a lovely old barn.
It's beautiful!

And it's wooden--which is becoming sadly less and less common here. Tin siding is becoming the answer to older barns in the midwest and aging wood is slowly disappearing. Sadly true.

This one is just full of character!

It is still a beautiful barn.

The roof appears to be newer than the structure itself. Wonder why they put on a new roof, but didn't "care" for the rest?

"She's" a beauty, even if her "dress" is getting tattered.

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful old barn! I love the old wood! Is it weathered that way & color or is that some kind of fading paint? Check out that rusted roof! WoW! Love the entire scene, esp the lane in the foreground! This should be framed & hung!!!

Thanks a million for joining this week's Barn Charm =)

Thanks for all your lovely comments!
The barn has old paint.. of several colors, all fading and chipping away.
Old run-down barns often get new metal roofs, around here. Does seem a bit odd.

The metal roofs certainly stand the test of time.

Great colour, very charming.

I appreciate your style of photography--clean colors, crisp, minimum edits. When the subject is as great as the outdoors, it doesn't need a lot of camera embellishments.
