Clad in Clouds

I must admit.. I'm enamored with
Mt St Helens
and in awe of nature's healing powers.
Since its eruption in 1980
the mountain has been busy rebuilding its dome
While the once lush forests below
that were totally devastated
slowly return to life.
In a mere 250 years
restorations will be complete..
pointy peak and all.

This scene looks so cool. We'll be suffering from another hundred-plus day. I think I'll come stay with you for a while.

A remarkable area all things considered. When I was a child, we used to pick huckleberries around the base of Mt. Adams.

It never ceases to help me find my sense of 'smallness'.....and that's a very good thing.

Amazing thing, this little piece of G-d's handiwork.....

Wonderfull !!
I love mountins, but we don't have any here in Finland. So it's very nice to watch those here.

Wait till she wakes up. I just hope that the living things around the area can handle her outbursts.
