Lower Columbia River

I looked out over this quiet peaceful river
and wondered why
Why so much hatred and anger
Why harm innocent children
My heart is heavy
with sadness.

((((( Laura )))))

Hard, sad moments seem to invite reflection and require copious amounts of peace.
I thank you for this piece of peace.

And I remind you that love always, always wins.
Always.

Excellent reflection! I also like the look of the gentle ripples of the water.
