Hiking About

I get euphoric
in a beautiful forest

To the right of that cliff
is this waterfall

It was well worth the climb
the misstep
and the bruises
that followed
( but I saved my camera
from destruction )

It was a perfect day

Summer, the mountains and the waterfall that is all.

There's nothing like hiking to a waterfall on a hot summer's day. Glad your (and your camera) were not hurt badly. I do the same thing when I stumble - save the camera first, myself second! :)

I love how you captured the waterfalls. Looks natural.

Ah, the dreaded 'worth it' bruises! I know them well. And I know 'save the camera!!'. And I know stumbling and tripping. THAT I know equally well. Oh, but so worth it when you get to the destination--and enjoy the journey to and from.
What a pretty little place that gives you a sneak peek. Maybe next time himself can take a tree lopper and whack some of those branches back so you have a whole new angle to shoot from! LOL
