Life Inside a Crater

With little snow to cover Mt St Helens
textures shapes and colors come alive
deep inside her crater
taking on an unearthly look

Again, the color scheme of the entire composition works so beautifully. And the lines flowing throughout in a pleasing, fluid motion. Wonderful piece!

That isn't much snow! I was just noticing not much snow outside the crater either, especially compared to Mt. Hood.

Beautiful and barren shot! I have fond memories of the area from a family vacation we took when the kids were young.
