Bridge spanning the Columbia River
from The Dalles, Oregon
to Dallesport, Washington.
We're over on the dry east side of the Cascade Range
(we live on the wet west side)
exploring the region
enjoying some R&R
and taking lots of pics!

Brilliant shot! And much earned R&R, of which I'll reap the rewards. :-D
I'm good with that! LOL
Enjoy yourselves.

Nice perspective.
Beautifully done Laura.

That is amazing. And what a great angle!
Excellent picture !
This is really really amazing.
You are right that sure does remind me of the things we used to built with erector sets.
I grew up close to The Dalles, only on the Washington side. We used to shop in the TD when a ferry was still in use to cross over.
Świetna perspektywa.
I absolutely love bridges...and I haven't seen this one. Thank you for sharing. Great capture.

What a great shot...love the angle..it makes it look exactly like an erector set bridge ;)
Great shot!! I really like the colour and the pattern of the bridge against the softer, natural landscape behind.
Great shot and angle!
Great shot of the bridge!
these are always fascinating bridges to photograph - and you have found a great perspective!
I've photographed this bridge before! (Biggs Junction is actually the little town in Oregon across the Columbia from that state park below Maryhill. It's the intersection of I-84 and Hwy 97 to Bend, etc. Is there also a Biggs, WA?) Did you visit the remnants of the "village" at the Shiloh Motel? Fascinating....and I don't think you have to stay there to wander through.
Thank you SO much for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #51… I’m sorry that I am very late coming by to visit your entry. But I have been fighting being sick all week, trying to fend off a virus and haven’t been doing much besides working and sleeping.. I do hope you’ll forgive me and come by tomorrow to share on Weekly Top Shot’s 1st Anniversary!
Oops.. it's Dallesport on the WA side, Evelyn. (I just emailed you)
