Once Upon a Time

 this old train trestle
had purpose
today it quietly sits
as it slowly fades away

Looking across to the Oregon side
of the Lower Columbia River

What a haunting shot--beautiful in it's lines and colours and reflections. And tales...oh what a sight it must have been when it was active!

Beautiful shot! I can just imagine a train of old chugging its way over this trestle.
