Beautiful against the black background, the red just pops.
I love camellias! Growing up in southern Calif, my mom had many camellia bushes in our yard. I grew up and moved to Utah where they don't grow. Every winter when it is cold and snowy in Utah we would visit my family and enjoy all the flowers in bloom, especially the camillias and roses. As a school girl we'd go to the Rose Parade in Pasadena and I'd march in The Camellia Parade in my small town. Great memories. Your rendition is soft and lovely.
