I love this...we have a wetland on our property.....it fascinates me.
You found lots of beauty!
They are creating a new wetland near here from a former quarry. It will be a bout 2 and a half square miles in extent so should attract some rare breeding birds such as Bitterns and Marsh Harriers. I've been meaning to view the work in progress for some months now but haven't managed to get there yet.
Simple beauty indeed.
