I love these birds. And you've caught the young one well. There's something about spying one that just uplifts my whole day.

And I mean seriously uplifts the WHOLE day.

I would love to fly like an eagle. I would love to be strong like this wonderful and powerful bird.

Laura, these pictures are fantastic. You captured this bird in a flight. Wow! I could never be able to do that and that is so special.

And then an eagle is resting on a tree, thinking, watching and very alert. Beautiful.

This pictures took away my breath. They are splendid.

Hugs from Kaya and I wish you a beautiful week, my dear Laura.

I'm afraid I keep leaving the same old comments every day here, Like: Gorgeous, beautiful, wow, magnificent and so on. This time, I'm speechless at the beauty and wonder of this bird. And your photos.

Hi Laura,
Indeed, they are magnificent birds! We love to watch them during the summer when they fly around our lake and visit in the shoreline trees. Especially have to watch out for our little dog and cat though!
My favorite is your second image - the light, the moment, the feeling of soaring - perfect!

Are the first two golden eagles? Beautiful bald eagles in that last shot, they are magnificent creatures.

I believe the eagle in flight is a juvenile and the two in the treetop are its parents.
I took a lot of pics in quick succession. I aimed the camera ahead of where I thought it'd fly.
