I'm a free spirited aging hippie who loves talking to flowers, chasing rainbows and photographing all the beauty that surrounds us Thanks for taking a peek into my little world Laura
LOL Oh, what a familiar sight, that abundance of wood stacked next to another abundance of wood with the shiny new roof. Oh, but what a glorious one he was in his youth! And what opportunities abound!
I love the way the last photo was taken! The lighting and the angle is just perfect to see both the beauty of the new roof barn and its surrounding as well. I just hope that after the roof, they will fix the other areas of the house to make it last for the years yet to come.
I love that handsome barn! I could use some of that firewood stacked underneath as it is FINALLY snowing here today! Although, I have to admit, the green grass makes me jealous!
Though the roof is new, I like how it still blends naturally with the old foundation. It still seems like a genuine part of it. The materials were really carefully chosen, and the old barn was given justice! :) -->Allyson
Giving the old barn a new roof was a great idea! With the new roof, I'm sure that this barn will last for many more years. I'm wondering if this barn will have an overall renovation too however.
Through my blog and yours I’ve met and made so many wonderful friends Who’ve enriched my life in so many wonderful ways Ways that words cannot begin to express ♥
Enjoy my pix but please don't call them your own. ♥

Lovely light in these photos.
I bet it was magnificent in its day and still very charming now. Love the composition of this shot!
ooooh, I am liking that firewood stacked out of the weather. Nice on a cold winter day.
Looks like a delicious slice of Americana--lovely images!!
The new roof will protect it for many more years! Very picturesque. : )

love the 2nd shot. great week. ( :
I guess it makes some kind of sense to fix the roof first.
Well cared for I think.
A very beautiful story
Lovely photo, and it is interesting that a person would invest in a new roof for a barn this old.

I'm really liking this barn - with a new roof, maybe rebuilding the sides is coming next? It looks well cared for - nice find!
oh that is beautiful...love all the different colors on the barn.
What a great old barn.
Maybe the new barn is a first step to renewal.
It's current state makes a great photo op, though.
Wonderful light on that rustic barn... love it! Thank you for joining in 'Rurality Blog Hop #5' Hope to see you next Wednesday for #6...
I love looking at all your photos on both your blogs. Beautiful!
