Old Barn New Roof

This old barn is falling apart
here and there
but it sports a new roof
even a bit of lawn

LOL Oh, what a familiar sight, that abundance of wood stacked next to another abundance of wood with the shiny new roof.
Oh, but what a glorious one he was in his youth! And what opportunities abound!

ooooh, I am liking that firewood stacked out of the weather. Nice on a cold winter day.

The new roof will protect it for many more years! Very picturesque. : )

I love the way the last photo was taken! The lighting and the angle is just perfect to see both the beauty of the new roof barn and its surrounding as well. I just hope that after the roof, they will fix the other areas of the house to make it last for the years yet to come.

I guess it makes some kind of sense to fix the roof first.

Lovely photo, and it is interesting that a person would invest in a new roof for a barn this old.

I love that handsome barn! I could use some of that firewood stacked underneath as it is FINALLY snowing here today! Although, I have to admit, the green grass makes me jealous!

I'm really liking this barn - with a new roof, maybe rebuilding the sides is coming next? It looks well cared for - nice find!

What a great old barn.
Maybe the new barn is a first step to renewal.
It's current state makes a great photo op, though.

Though the roof is new, I like how it still blends naturally with the old foundation. It still seems like a genuine part of it. The materials were really carefully chosen, and the old barn was given justice! :) -->Allyson

Giving the old barn a new roof was a great idea! With the new roof, I'm sure that this barn will last for many more years. I'm wondering if this barn will have an overall renovation too however.
